The best sportsmen  from all districts in Grodno region come to Zelva to meet at the artificial reservoir.

According to the lot the sportsmen are devided into two groups (A and B) and take place into the sectors on the right and left sides of the dam. Referees  control all  the  participants in each sector according to the rules of the competition. The fishing lasts for 5 hours during two days. The winners of the competition are honoured both in team and personal nominations. The whole sums of the points which are  gained by the teams  during these two days depending on the weight of the fish, that have been caught are considered when summing-up.
